This year we spent Thanksgiving in Cleveland with Jeff’s family. We ordered a Willie Bird Organic Free-Range Turkey (via Williams-Sonoma). Jeff spent the better part of Thanksgiving Day preparing and cooking the turkey. All his hard work paid off – the tukey was amazing – and tasted like actual turkey thanks to Willie Bird. (Although we did feel guilty for having our bird shipped all the way from Sonoma, California)
Roasted Turkey
~place apples and celery inside turkey
~cover turkey with butter soaked cheese cloth
~oven roast according to size of turkey
~during the last hour or so, glaze turkey with maple syrup and butter mixture
